If you’ve ever thought you need a huge social media following, to improve your sales – it is simply not true.
A small business owner had contacted our team for social media management and social media marketing services. They are automated, and usually created for various malicious purposes, such as spamming users, inflating follower counts, etc.
What had happened was: one of the promises their previous social media manager had made, was that they were going to increase their social media followership drastically. And they did – So much that within a period of 3 months, the social media accounts media manager had devised means to accumulate bot followers to reach their targets. Within three months, they had gone from having around 1,400 followers, into having 10,500 followers on each platform. ‘Great!’ They must have thought. When in fact, it is not great at all, as it made their business suffer needless setbacks.
